HOW TO USE OUR CLIPART IN PRINT:

It's all about image size.

If you plan to use our art in print you'll want to become a member so that you can have access to larger size clipart. The reason is resolution. Resolution is measured in dpi, that is...dots per inch. You can see the individual dots of color on your screen but not on a printed page. If you print the art you find on your screen it will be fuzzy or too small on paper. Click here to read more about membership.

HOW TO USE OUR CLIPART FOR WEB:

Choosing your clipart's background color.

Each Christian clipart is available with 15 different color backgrounds. To choose a different hue click on the colorbar below the clipart. If you don't see the exact color of your backdrop just choose the closest hue. Our Christian clipart has transparent backgrounds. If your color is a little off the image will still blend in well.

Why we're religious about our clipart's backdrop colors.

A computer monitor (currently) only displays 72 dots of color within an inch. 72dpi looks very choppy to the human eye. To make images look more appealing to us humans, graphic software uses a little trick called anti-aliasing. In short anti-aliasing is mixing some of the background color into the foreground to make the rough edges of the foreground look smoother. This is a great trick but it locks the foreground image to a background color. Since websites are designed with so many background colors, we created our images with 15 different background colors; hoping one will closely match yours.

misplaced religious clipart This clipart was saved with red anti-alaising.
It doesn't belong on a white page.

Always match the anti-alaising to the background.
